So, there was a day when I went to lunch with a colleague or two. Upon arriving there I see two other colleagues, on a much higher level than me, older as well, and we normally do not socialise outside work, are also there. I went and sat down, enjoyed their company and then left. So I never spoke abt 'hanging with them' or anything as I do not want gossip. 
Now today one of them comes in the office I share with the rest of admin and asks: 'when are we eating again?'
And I immediately think I should stop him in his tracks before he says I was with them at lunch, another 'gossip story', so I say, before he can elaborate: 'oh I dunno, when there's another occasion'
then he says: 'No I mean lunch from the company u order from'
Embarrasing...

Weirdness...

So this guy at the office (a guy that made a not-so-funny joke abt me previously, btw) called me into his office today. [Now - history: this morning he was hanging around a colleagues and my desk for files so I showed him the mail i got abt some gross extreme tatoo-techniques, people carving instead of tatoo-ing.] Now he calls me when I'm in the corridor: I look behind me and no one's there, he says 'you'. Ok... I go to his pc and he shows me pix of his matric son's matric ball pix... Yah... Awkward...? (it WAS nice pix, but, yah...) So I just oohed and aahed as much as I cud... And said I didn't know he had a son in matric, that means he's older than I thought (oops, didn't know if that was a kewl thing to say either!!) And then I said his son's handsome... And then I asked if the chick was his sons gf... And joked abt that... Then said his son's cute again, then I mumbled the thing abt 'handsome, coz guys aren't cute' ... Then I felt obligated to say something kwai (cool), bt I cudnt find any... So I said, yah, nice, and I left awkwardly and loudly with my new shoes...  (TT^TT)
